Accommodations

The wedding ceremony and reception will take place in Alamogordo, NM on Saturday, May 23^rd. However, if you plan on arriving earlier than Saturday, we recommend making arrangements in Las Cruces, as there is more to do. Las Cruces is about 70 miles from Alamogordo and it will probably be more convenient to arrange to stay in Alamogordo on the night of the wedding. Below are our lodging recommendations for Las Cruces and Alamogordo.  

Las Cruces Accommodations:

Hotel Encanto
Hotel Encanto de Las Cruces (http://www.hotelencanto.com/) is a unique New Mexico hotel with an ambiance reflective of Spanish and Mexican Colonial history and tradition. To make arrangements, call 575-522-4300 and ask for the Selon/Quaintance wedding rate of $99. La Quinta Inn Las Cruces
La Quinta Inn Las Cruces (http://www.laquintalascrucesmesillavalley.com/) is a budget friendly hotel. Call 575-524-0331 to make arrangements. 

Other options:
In addition, there are a number of casita and home rentals available at http://www.vrbo.com and other vacation rental sites. If you're interested in camping amidst the breathtaking Organ Mountains with fantastic hiking trails, a great place to go is Aguirre Springs. Alamogordo Accommodations:

Fairfield Inn and Suites
The Fairfield Inn and Suites is a Marriot hotel located just a short drive away from the McDonald Farm.  To make arrangements, call 575-437-4000 and ask to book a room through the hotel's front desk for the Selon/Quaintance wedding block rate (DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THE RESERVATION LINE).  Rooms are being held through May 24th for May 23 and 24 at a rate of $90. Quality Inn and Suites
There are various budget friendly hotel options in Alamogordo, all very close to the farm. We recommend the Quality Inn and Suites. To make arrangements, call 575-434-4200 or 800-255-5061 and request to make a reservation with the Quaintance/Selon wedding group rate of $67 plus tax. 

Camping
Everyone is also welcome to join us and camp on the farm the night of the wedding! If you plan on camping, come prepared with a tent. More details on camping amenities are coming soon (toilets, outdoor shower, etc). 

Cloudcroft
The town of Cloudcroft, located just 15 miles away from Alamogordo, is another option. Hotels in Cloudcroft include The Lodge (http://www.thelodgeresort.com/).
